Our Commitment to Puppy Health

2-Year Health Guarantee

Every Trek Family Doberman puppy is raised with careful attention to health and well-being and is backed by our two-year health guarantee, subject to the terms and conditions of our written guarantee.

Every Puppy Comes With Our 2-Year Health Guarantee Because bringing home a puppy should come with confidence as well as excitement.
Health Comes First

A Healthy Beginning for Your New Companion

At Trek Family Dobermans, we understand that choosing a puppy is a long-term commitment. Families deserve confidence that appropriate attention has been given to their puppy's health before homecoming.

Our commitment does not end when your puppy leaves our care. Our two-year health guarantee provides written protection for qualifying covered health conditions.

While your puppy is with us, we focus on appropriate nutrition, daily care, a clean environment, early socialization and age-appropriate preventive health care.

Before homecoming, we review the puppy's health preparation and provide families with the information needed to continue responsible veterinary care.

Written Health Protection

Understanding Our 2-Year Health Guarantee

Our two-year health guarantee is intended to provide protection for qualifying serious congenital or hereditary health conditions that are covered by the written guarantee.

The guarantee period begins on the puppy's documented date of transfer or homecoming and continues for two years, subject to the requirements and exclusions contained in the written agreement.

Because not every illness or health problem is genetic or congenital, the guarantee is not intended to replace routine veterinary care, pet insurance, preventive medicine or responsible ownership.

The written guarantee provided with the puppy should always be reviewed carefully because it contains the complete terms that apply to your puppy.

Understanding Your Coverage

Health Guarantee Coverage

The purpose of our guarantee is to address qualifying serious hereditary or congenital health conditions, rather than illnesses or injuries that arise from circumstances after the puppy leaves our care.

Protecting Your Puppy

Your Role After Homecoming

Our responsibility is to provide your puppy with a healthy beginning. Once the puppy enters your care, maintaining that foundation becomes a partnership between your family and your veterinarian.

Dobermans need appropriate nutrition, preventive care, exercise, training and ongoing veterinary attention throughout their lives.

Following appropriate veterinary recommendations is also important when maintaining the protections provided under the written health guarantee.

  • Establish care with a licensed veterinarian.
  • Continue the puppy's recommended vaccination schedule.
  • Continue appropriate parasite prevention and deworming.
  • Provide quality nutrition and clean drinking water.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary living environment.
  • Provide age-appropriate exercise and activity.
  • Seek veterinary care promptly when illness or injury is suspected.
  • Maintain relevant veterinary and medical records.

Yes. Trek Family Dobermans puppies are provided with our two-year health guarantee, subject to the applicable written terms and conditions.
